Working together to provide support to the residents of Tusayan during this unprecedented pandemic.

Registering for the Food Bank is EASY! Simply complete this form below and you will receive a registration code to present at the Food Bank to receive your food assistance. In order to keep everyone safe during Food Operations, you will need to read and agree to the Food Bank Distribution Policies when submitting your registration. 

You must be a resident of Valle, Tusayan, or reside inside Grand Canyon National Park to receive food from this food bank. If you reside outside of those areas, please visit the St. Mary’s Food Bank Website for services available in your area. 

Once you have registered in our system, you will receive an email asking you to confirm that you will be arriving at the food bank that week. You will receive this email each week and you must respond by Friday of each week to confirm your arrival at the next food bank. Please understand that this procedure will help us to order the quantity of food needed each week, and to have the needed amount of volunteers.

Please understand that during this unprecedented time, situations can change by the minute, and be patient with the efforts of the volunteers providing this service. By registering here and providing an email address and phone, we will better be able to communicate changes and updates to you.

Everyone registering for the Food Bank will need to agree to the Food Bank Distribution Policies, and acceptance of the policy will be required during the registration proces

    ELIGIBILITY

    You must be a resident of Valle, Tusayan, or reside inside Grand Canyon National Park to receive food from this food bank. If you reside outside of those areas, please visit the St. Mary’s Food Bank Website for services available in your area.

    REGISTRATION

    • Have your Registration Code available when arriving for pickup.
    • If you have not registered, you can do so here.
    • If you have not registered prior to arriving at the Food Bank, you will be directed to the Registration Area by a volunteer.
    • If you have registered, you will be directed to the Check In Station to  provide your registration code.
    • Please keep your windows rolled up and show the registration code to the volunteer through the closed window.
    • The volunteer will direct you the Food Pickup Station.
    VEHICLE OCCUPANTS
    • We are asking that you do not bring other people with you in your vehicle when arriving to pick up your food.
    • By limiting the number of people in one location, we are helping to practice Social Distancing
    • Driver, and any occupants, should stay inside the vehicle at all times
    FOOD PICKUP
    • After having your registration confirmed at the Check In Station, the volunteer will direct you to the  Food Pickup Station.
    • Volunteers will place the food in your trunk, hatchback, or open pickup bed ONLY.
    • Please open your trunk or hatchback before you get to the pickup station.
    • If you are unable to open your trunk or hatchback, the food box will be placed on top of your trunk, or on top of your car, by the volunteer.
    • You may then drive slowly away from the distribution area and place the food in your vehicle.
    • WALKUPS: If you are picking up food on foot, and you have registered, proceed directly to the Check In Station and stay 6' away from the Volunteer. The volunteer will confirm your registration and direct you to the Food Pickup Station. If you have NOT registered, please proceed to the Registration Station and the volunteer will get you registered. Please stay 6' from the Registration Volunteer.
    WEEKLY FOOD BANK
    • Once you have registered for the Tusayan Food Bank and provided us with an email or phone number, you will receive a weekly notification for scheduling your pickup time for the next Food Bank.
    • Scheduling is necessary in order for us to serve a large amount of people in the most efficient manner.
    • You must complete the form in your notification by end of day on the Friday before the next Food Bank.
    • If you do not complete the scheduling form by Friday, you may experience delays when you arrive to pick up your food.
    TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    • Information you are providing for Food Assistance will only be shared with the organizations involved in providing the food banks. Your information will not be shared, sold, or distributed to anyone outside of the Food Bank Organizations.
    • By submitting your registration, you are agreeing to follow the Food Bank Distribution Policies listed above in order to keep everyone safe during distribution.
  • AFTER you hit submit, this page will RELOAD and will show your Registration Number. You may have to SCROLL DOWN after the page reloads in order to see you Registration Number. You will also receive an email with your Registration Number. You may have to check your SPAM or OTHER Folders, the email will be from tusayanfoodbank@spiritofthecanyon.com.
