Our first priority is the safety of our volunteers and food bank recipients, so it is vitally important that everyone follows the CDC Guidelines for prevention of the disease. In addition to the CDC Guidelines, we have instituted policies for the Tusayan Food Bank in order to protect everyone, those policies are included below, and are required as part of the Registration Process.
You may also view our Safety Precautions Page for information about basic safety regarding the Covid 19 virus, and requirements for volunteers.
These policies may change as this situation itself is changing rapidly, and we will keep this page updated so you that everyone understands the procedures and policies.
Please be patient with this entire system, as everyone who is assisting is a volunteer, this is a totally new Food Bank Distribution System, and there are bound to be some glitches and frustrations during the first few distributions. If we all work together, we can do our best to make sure that everyone in Tusayan who needs food is able to obtain it.
